Interneo offers two different ways to import students into the platform. In this article, you will learn how to encode students one by one or to encode them in bulk via an Excel file import.
1. Encoding one student at a time
Step 1: In the "My Students" tab, click on the button at the top right of your screen.
A new line appears in the list of students
Step 2: Fill in the required information (indicated by a red field), i.e. the section, the name, the first name, the email address and the student number. This information is required to create a new student.
Tip"You can fill in the optional information (phone, date of birth) yourself or you can ask students to fill it in from their own Interneo account." |
2. Bulk enrollment of students
Step 1: In the "My Students" tab, click on the button at the top right of your screen. The sample file "students_template.xlsx" will download immediately.
Step 2: Open the downloaded file, edit your students list and save the file (activate the edit mode if needed).
Tip"No need to empty the file. Just add your new students under the list of students already in the file." |
Step 3: Click on the button at the top right of your screen.
Step 4: Choose the import method.
The file can be imported in two different ways
→ By replacement: new students are added, existing students are updated and students missing from the file are deleted.
→ By addition: new students are added, existing students are updated. The old students remain.
Attention"If you choose the "by replacement" mode, be careful not to delete from your Excel file the students you want to keep in Interneo at the risk of deleting them. Contact the Interneo helpdesk in case of wrong manipulation." |
Step 5: Drop the modified file into the window, and click .
Note"After the import, an Excel file with the list of modification statuses is automatically downloaded. Consult it to check if all your students have been correctly updated." |
